How are the new LVR rules affecting the market? The Reserve Bank's LVR Restrictions were designed to prevent future financial shocks. Objectors have said that First Home Buyers are affected by the changes, but they were also the group having the biggest impact on property prices. |

New NZPIF Structure Following meetings of the NZPIF and Property Investor Associations', the new structure of the NZPIF was approved at a recent NZPIF Executive meeting. It is hoped that these changes will bring benefits to Associations' and members'. |

No need for Rental Property WOF Calls for a Rental Property Warrant of Fitness (WOF) from some social services groups do not appear to be backed up by Tenants. The Otago Medical School has suggested items to be inspected include; whether walls, floor and windows are adequate, if there is a water supply, hot water less than 55 degrees, minimum internal noise sources, optimal orientation to the sun, sustainable and non polluting energy sources (such as solar water heating). |
