WOF for rental properties not the answer

Private landlords represented by the NZ Property Investors' Federation (NZPIF) ensure that their properties are not cold, damp, and unhealthy.   They care about the quality of accommodation they offer. We also know that the cost of power means many people don't turn on their heating. The future of home heating is here! As Graham Duff, President of HBPIA will confirm, there's a new way to heat homes. Infracomfort provides an effective, efficient, low cost and maintenance-free way of heating living and work areas, with stylish panels that emit invisible infrared light which gently and safely warms people and surfaces just as the sun does on a warm winter's day.

An update on social housing

On 120 occasions during the last twelve months, the NZPIF views and comments have featured in the media. Andrew King, NZPIF Executive Officer has either been interviewed or approached for comment on housing issues by journalists from Fairfax Media, TV3, RadioLive, and RadioNZ to name just a few media channels.

The NZPIF Executive Committee is delighted that a business partnership agreement has been signed with Carpet Court.  As a result of this agreement, Carpet Court is announcing a National Pricing and Service plan specifically designed for members of Property Investors' Associations affiliated to the NZPIF

As NZPIF Executive Officer, Andrew King recently attended the first of six public meetings on social housing changes in New Zealand. Further meeting dates are listed below.
Social housing changes could have an impact on the entire market. At this stage it is difficult to see if these will be positive, neutral or negative for private rental property owners.
