During July and August, the media was a little less focused on property investments. However, the effects of previously announced policy on groups such as bach owners was highlighted and discussed. Also the Child Poverty Action Group remains unsatisfied by the Government's announcements regarding minimum standards for heating and insulation in rentals and continues to advocate for a WOF for rental properties. Andrew King indicated in an interview with NZ Wire that members were already keen to have insulated properties as tenants tended to stay longer. |
