A reminder of the new NZPIF and Noel Leeming Group partnership

We announced just before Christmas that NZPIF & Noel Leeming group have now partnered to bring you preferential pricing. A two tiered offer has been negotiated and is available to all NZPIF members. 

Offer One - Preferential pricing through out all Noel Leeming retail stores. This is a cost + agreement. To access this pricing it is important to follow these two steps.

1.Show your NZPIF card or the image of your card on the NZPIF app to identify when in-store that you are a member of NZPIF.

2. Then show the bar-code which is under the Noel Leeming name in the DIY section of the NZPIF application. Download the NZPIF app now. It is free.

Offer Two - Trade pricing is also available for volume purchases on the appliances that are required for projects you may be working on. Special 25% price reduction

when purchasing Unovent® Home Ventilation kitsets until 17 February 2017

Many property investors have installed Unovent® systems in their investment properties and in their own homes in which they live.  Unovent Limited is now offering, exclusive to Property Investors' Association members affiliated to NZPIF, a 25% price reduction for any size kitset (any number of room outlets) and for any quantity of kitsets including the new Unovent® h-line systems for houses without a roof cavity.  The offer is valid for ordering and paying for the purchases by 17 February 2017.  This is more than the usual reduction offered to Property Investors' Association members.

Have your say on the draft NZS8510 

The draft NZ Standard - Testing and decontamination of methamphetamine-contaminated properties - is now open for public consultation. Submissions close on 20 February 2017. The NZPIF will be making a submission, however any individual can as well. You can make a submission here by scrolling down the page to NZS8510 (third down on the page).

However go here to read a copy, with relevant sections highlighted, of this draft standard. Andrew King, Executive Officer of NZPIF, has studied the document and highlighted the sections of most importance to landlords.

A key aspect of the draft is that it offers two possible options for meth levels to which affected properties should be cleaned. One is from the Ministry of Health report released by them last month.
