HH Statement and Insulation statement templates now available here

Residential Tenancies (Healthy Homes Standards) Regulations 2019 become law from 1 July 2019. This legislation requires that from 1 July 2019 all new tenancy agreements must include a separately signed statement confirming intention to comply with the healthy homes standards (HHS). The statement is also required if there is a written variation or renewal of a tenancy agreement.

The free downloadable Tenancy Services Residential Tenancy Agreement and Boarding House Agreement templates are currently being updated and will be available here from 24 June.

If landlords/agents are using their own agreement template, an example HHS compliance statement is available now on the website here which can be added to their agreements.
