Residential Property Investment Survey

In collaboration with the New Zealand Property Investors Federation (NZPIF) our team at Massey University is exploring what motivates people to purchase rental property.

Is it because we see property values rising; is it because we want to ensure an income in retirement or is it simply because New Zealanders have a love affair with property? Who are the property investors in New Zealand? Is there any truth in stories that overseas investors are causing values to increase? Are fewer New Zealanders entering the real estate investment market?

There are lots of interesting questions that we want answers to from people like you who invest in residential property.

We'd like you to tell us about your experience in a short interactive questionnaire. It only takes about 5 minutes. All answers are anonymous (we capture the data in a secure database). The final report findings will be freely available to you on request.
