NZPIF Members August Update

In this update

1. NZPIF app is updated and ready to use.

2. Six RentSkills Awards to be presented this year.

3. Two Renovation of the Year Awards to be presented this year.

The update of the NZPIF app has been completed and should now be compatible with all versions of mobile phones. About two thirds of NZPIF members have discovered the convenience of using the NZPIF app which is free to down load from here.  

The RentSkills Supreme Awards winner, RentSkills Highly Commended both sponsored by Resene, and four Rent Skills Merit Awards sponsored by MBIE.  All will be presented at the 2023 NZPIF Conference Gala Dinner on 28th October.

All Awards will be selected by the judges using the agreed list of criteria and adding up the percentages shown in the right hand column of the application form allocated to each applicant. In addition for the recipients of Merit Awards, MBIE has asked that the judges focus on ongoing commitment to enhance the effectiveness and efficiencies in their management of positive tenancy relationships. Prizes are  $2,000 for the Supreme Winner, $1.000 for the Highly Commended and $500 each for the Merit Awards.

The focus of these awards is on structural and decorating renovations.  It is open to all members of Property Investors' Associations affiliated to the NZPIF who are renovating or managing the renovation of a property or properties in New Zealand.  The winner will receive a cash prize of $2,000.00, a framed certificate and the engraved trophy for one year.  The winner's PIA receives $500.  The Runner Up receives  $1,000
