New Zealand Property Investors' Federation
The NZPIF is the umbrella body for 17 local Property Investors' Associations throughout New Zealand.
This is the last newsletter for 2016. As well as news about specials for members, we give you an update about assessing meth contamination and an update on discussions on resolving issues arising out of the Osaki case decision.
Update on meth contaminationThe much anticipated report on acceptable levels of meth contamination was released recently by the Ministry of Health. The main finding of the report is that the current levels of acceptable meth contamination are to be amended. There will be one acceptable level of meth contamination when there has been manufacturing of the substance in a property and a higher acceptable level when meth has been used by the occupants. Find out the details. |

Proposal for an Osaki remedy Andrew King, representing NZPIF, has been meeting with the Housing Minister, Dr Nick Smith, with MBIE representatives, as well as representatives of Labour, Act and the Greens in order to find a fair solution to the issues which have arisen out of the Osaki case ruling. News from My RepublicDid you know that as a member you receive discounts on MyRepublic's products and services?
Since the announcement of our partnership, members across the country have been ordering MyRepublic services at home, for rental properties and the office. See what our members are saying -"We now have signed up 4 properties with MyRepublic and have been impressed with exceptional personal service. The process of connecting Fibre to homes takes time, but compared to other companies MyRepublic have given honest answers and worked hard to make the process go smoothly. We have holiday homes so this is ideal for us to deal with one company. It is the least expensive way to offer Fibre as a bonus for any tenancies - perhaps as an incentive for new tenants in a tight market." Sue - Christchurch Would you like to know more about MyRepublic and the packages you can secure as an NZPIF member?
