New draft NZ Standard for Meth The draft NZ Standard for meth is now open for public consultation. Submissions close on 20 February 2017. The NZPIF will be making a submission, however any individual can as well. You can make a submission here: Under the section DZ 8510 (Committee P 8510), Testing and decontamination of methamphetamine-contaminated properties there is a copy of the draft. A key aspect of the draft is that it offers two possible options for meth levels to which affected properties should be cleaned. One is from the Ministry of Health report released by them last month. The other is from the Meth Standards Committee. Further information on this is supplied by Andrew King below. |

Further information about the recent Bunnings announcement Earlier this month, Des Bickerton the NZ Commercial Manager of Bunnings announced "It is with pleasure we announce that we have moved the NZPIF pricing structure to a higher level of pricing, taking effect from the 1st of November 2016. The purpose of the change is to ensure we provide the best pricing to the NZPIF group and its members." Further information from Bunnings noted that items such as Life Style and Outdoor Living products are in the EDLP (every day low price) category and prices are the lowest margin and the most competive in the market. These items and others in EDFP categories have already been discounted due to the EDLP policy so members will not experience the large discounts announced above on these items. |

News from My RepublicDid you know that as a member you receive discounts on MyRepublic's products and services?
Since the announcement of our partnership, members across the country have been ordering MyRepublic services at home, for rental properties and the office. See what our members are saying -"We now have signed up 4 properties with MyRepublic and have been impressed with exceptional personal service. The process of connecting Fibre to homes takes time, but compared to other companies MyRepublic have given honest answers and worked hard to make the process go smoothly. We have holiday homes so this is ideal for us to deal with one company. It is the least expensive way to offer Fibre as a bonus for any tenancies - perhaps as an incentive for new tenants in a tight market." Sue - Christchurch Would you like to know more about MyRepublic and the packages you can secure as an NZPIF member?
